Peter Arkenbout: International referee judo
Almaty (Kazachstan) is hosting an international seminar for judo referees and coaches, bringing together experts and participants from around the world. The seminar is conducted under the leadership of high-ranking officials from the International Judo Federation and the Judo Union of Asia,
The seminar has gathered 80 referees from 10 countries — including Kazakhstan, Poland, Egypt, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, India, Iran, the Netherlands, Japan, and Saudi Arabia — to exchange experience, enhance professional skills, and align with international refereeing standards. (aldus IJF Asia).
En de Nederlander is onze Drontenaar, Peter Arkenbout. Wij feliciteren hem van harte met het behalen van zijn IJF scheidsrechter diploma!! Een prachtig mijlpaal, maar zoals hijzelf omschrijft :
“Met trots kan ik melden, dat ik afgelopen vrijdag in Kazachstan mijn ‘International Referee’ licentie judo heb behaald. Het examen was een intensieve en bijzondere ervaring. Omdat leren nooit stopt, is het behalen van deze licentie niet een eindpunt, maar juist de start om mij verder te ontwikkelen als judo scheidsrechter.”
